Two Fire Table + HERD Ventures
Two Fire Table is a locally owned and operated business that seeks to build community around fire and food. Chef Sarah Rennie, the company’s founder, has traveled the Americas to enrich and expound on her understanding of seasonal ingredients and cultural open-fire cooking. This gathered knowledge is a main ingredient in the one-of-a-kind experiences that Two Fire Table offers.
After meeting together, Chef Sarah & Daniel James, the creative director of HERD Ventures, set out to create a unique and unforgettable dining experience. Chef Sarah and her team planned and prepared a 5-course meal, with each course highlighting local Virginian farms. The goal was to immerse guests in a rustic and refined event that showcased the culinary craftsmanship of the chef.
Telling The Story
Attendees of the Farm Tableau Dinner were immersed into a world where vibrant colors, delectable flavors, and the charm of the countryside collided. This mesmerizing celebration of nature’s bounty was expressed in colorful decorations and masterfully prepared dishes.
Emphasis was placed on highlighting and supporting as many as Virginia’s local and hardworking farms as possible. Chef Sarah of Two Fire Table took the time to personally visit every farm and vendor while gathering ingredients. HERD Ventures went to work with creating marketing content for many of these farms with on-location shoots. In addition to supporting local farms, the team sought out artists and other creative individuals to collaborate with in setting and capturing the ambiance of the evening.
