Robinia Institute + Timshel Wildland
The Robinia Institute is the educational and consulting center of Timshel Wildland, a 400-acre process-led & emergent conservation landscape in Nelson County, Virginia. The organization’s mission is to advocate, educate, and demonstrate the abundance, joy, and regenerative power of holistically managed and wild living systems. Daniel Griffith, a storyteller, a lover of the wildwoods, and a first-generation farmer with a background in high-technology and entrepreneurship, strives to foster connection and community via the shared power of story for regenerative agriculture.
Telling The Story
For an educational center as intrinsic to the food system as the Robinia Institute, reaching community members with educational programs and small farm consulting offerings is of the utmost importance to enhancing our food systems. HERD was brought in to create explanatory videos to share the value of the programs far and wide, thereby helping all food systems benefit from the learning of Timshel Wildland.
